Coach Hamish
Hamish is a coach at Smooth Jiu Jitsu Academy Moss Vale and a competitive blue belt who actively competes across New South Wales, including on the super fight circuit.
A long-time member of the team, Hamish has developed a strong reputation within the academy for his positive attitude, technical approach, and consistency on the mats. His active competition experience allows him to bring practical, modern techniques and real-world insight into his coaching.
Hamish works with both kids and adult students and is passionate about helping people improve their confidence, fitness, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu skills in a supportive environment. He is especially valued for his calm coaching style, patience, and ability to connect with beginners and younger students.
Alongside his coaching role, Hamish continues to test himself through regular competition and remains committed to his ongoing development as both an athlete and instructor at Smooth Jiu Jitsu Academy Moss Vale.
